and this one is today. It is still snowing!!!!!! FYI, the fence is 5' and the compost bin in the corner is 36" high.
And this is looking out from my front door to the street after I have shoveled. Before I started today, the tree branches were so heavy, they were laying down on top of the snow, so I had to deal with that before I could take on the sidewalk to the street.
My arms and shoulders are so tired, that I don't know if I can even knit or spin tonight. Wine and a movie sounds good.
One more thing......I even had to climb on step stool outside to clean off the DISH receiver. Gary didn't have TV all day because the snow and ice blocked the signal.
Maybe if I close my eyes, I will wake up in June.........

Home...le sigh. -Ali
Oh my! I don't know what my husband and I are going to do this year because my daughter and her husband have move out to their own house and it is just us old timers!
I know it's no fun to shovel... but MAN do I miss the snow!! Over here in Virginia we're still getting highs of like 68! It's equally as wrong as snow, believe me. lol
Oh my goodness! It looks like it's going to be a long winter. I would invest in a removal service or snow blower, if only to save your hands and arms for knitting! Stay warm.
How fun! Ok, maybe for me to look at, but not for you to live in. I would do anything for a good snow day like that in Georgia... I love how the whole place just shuts down at the threat of snow.
No fun being the one to shovel! Perry brought the snow blower from the midwest and it helps the job immensely. That is one job I will leave to him gladly. I hated having to do it while on my own.
It seems surreal! We are 71 in NE OH today!
Gross gross gross! There's something so wrong about that much snow, this early. At least it's good exercise, right? Just trying to be positive, even though it sucks...
I hope you feel better soon! Enjoy the wine and movie!
I do sympathise and I'm greatful I live in a climate where snow isn't an issue. Our summer is just starting and we are beginning to live life outdoors.
Oh my goodness, all that snow is unbelievable. I like snow but that's a bit much.
WOW! That's a lotta snow! I don't want to see any snow here in Cleveland until December 24 :) I hope your arms feel better!
Snow! It looks so beautiful. Although, show me the same pictures three months from now and I may not be as positive about them! =D
